Harmony
'Harmony' - (bronze) size approximately 7ft. by 6ft. by 4 ft.
The sculpture 'Harmony' shows a group of children from different cultures jumping into water in harmony, capturing the exuberance of children enjoying themselves. The sculpture is called 'Harmony' because of the rhythmical nature produced by the positions of the limbs and figures, giving it musical and lyrical qualities. The children are enjoying each other's company, playing in harmony, united by a common bond- the future for mankind.
Harmony was sponsored by Stapeley Water Gardens, Nantwich, Cheshire, who used it in their garden design for Chelsea Flower Show in 1993 which won a Gold Medal. There is also an edition in a private collection.
